Dimitrios Galanis

Short Bio: 

Dimitrios Galanis was born in Sparta, Greece, in 1991. He studied in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), and in 2014, he obtained the Diploma degree. In November 2014, he joined the Biomedical Simulations and Imaging (BIOSIM) Laboratory, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, NTUA, where he is currently working towards his Ph.D. He has also been awarded by the Hellenic Union of Physicists for his performance in the national student physics competition, in 2009. Dimitrios’ research interests include: Antenna Design and Analysis, Wearable and Implantable Antennas for Biomedical Telemetry, Ingestible Antennas, On-body/In-body Telecommunications, Bioelectromagnetics and Wireless Communications.
